Boudewijn Bugter: Partners: Customer Carewords
Boudewijn
Bugter is co-owner of Sabel Communicatie, a Dutch communications agency
that specialises in the development of customer-centric websites and
other media. Sabel Communicatie is part of the Customer Carewords
global partnership program.
The clients of Sabel Communicatie have one thing in common: they all
have a lot to tell. They are complex organisations, full of
information. And they all play an important role in their industry or
in Dutch society as a whole.
Clients include:
- various ministries (Finance, Environment, Housing, Home Affairs and Economic Affairs);
- municipalities (The Hague, Amsterdam);
- (semi)
government organisations (Prosecutors' Office, Council of State, Centre
for Work & Income, Dutch Government Information Service);
- financial services (AEGON, ING, Achmea, KPMG, Ernst & Young);
- IT and telecommunications (Vodafone, IBM, Ordina, Getronics);
- consumer brands (Oxxio, Leen Bakker, Albert Heijn, HEMA)
- charitable organizations (Dutch Cancer Society, Dutch Epilepsy Foundation)
Boudewijn has worked in online communications for almost a decade. He
started as a copywriter and web editor at Sabel Communicatie. After a
few years, he fled the nest to explore other types of business.
In this period he worked as a content manager for the Dutch Road
Traffic Safety Association (Veilig Verkeer Nederland). After that he
worked as the web manager for ProRail, the government organisation that
manages and maintains the railway network infrastructure in the
Netherlands. Here, he redeveloped several websites. He was also
responsible for the redevelopment and implementation of intranet
strategy. He managed the web team (1 editor, 1 webmaster) and also
supervised a team of 90 content editors spread throughout the
organisation.
In 2006 he returned to Sabel Communicatie. He works at this agency as
an internet and communications consultant and also manages Sabel
Communicatie's office in The Hague.
